Calculating odds for Triple Yacht can get pretty messy. The only one I'm sure of is if you get 2 pairs on the first roll (hopefully high) the odds of rolling a full house are 2/3 - pretty good!

My question is, if you get a single pair on the first roll, and you decide you're going for a yacht or 4 of a kind, is it better to keep the pair, or roll all 5 again? I started to work out the decision tree, and it got complex very quickly! Has anyone calculated this?

I find it easier just to re-roll all of them. Had found out that you have a better chance throwing it all away and getting a higher score on the next roll.
