Brick wall I purchased the 2012 versions of both 2012 Hoyle Cards and Hoyle Puzzles & Board Games. I am having the same problem with both of them (which were not problems in the previous 2008 versions). Each of these programs does not retain a memory as to whom I am after reboot; and both programs do not hold balances on Hoyle points. Also, the settings for card preference (standard) and domino settings (black), backgrounds previously purchased are not retained. Can you offer any resolution? I really get perturbed by these "quirks". Reported to Encore 1/14/13, as of today, 4/3/13, they still do not have a "fix" for these problems.

Thanks for any help...

I found your other post but I had to remove it since it is a duplicate. Hoyle 2012 and above are programmed differently then other versions of Hoyle and may not have the same behavior as found in 2008. Perhaps there is a conflict of profile information between both versions.

If you feel like it, please look here: http://s3.encore.com/sup...Profile%20Uninstall.zip

This is a utility that will remove all of your player profiles from old and new (In case there is a cross compatibility problem it could solve this issue) (IT WILL REMOVE ALL YOUR ITEMS YOU PREVIOUSLY GAINED)

If you continue to have problems with saving your profile, you may not have adequate administrator access to properly run the program. In this case you can try right clicking on the shortcut for the game and select "Run As Administrator" and see if this helps.

Still, if your having problems, then try a clean install of the product as outlined here: http://support.encore.co...enericcleaninstall.aspx

If problems still arise I'm afraid your going to need to send another support ticket on http://support.encore.com

I have the 2012 and 2013 versions installed and don't have a problem with it.
