I'm trying to install Hoyle Card Games 2008 and Hoyle Puzzle & Board Games 2008 on my new Windows 10 system from the original CDs. I open the disc in Explorer, right click on "launcher" and select Run as Administrator. The game installs successfully. But when I try to run the game (with the disc still in the drive), a dialog box comes up with the message "No disc inserted. Please insert the original 'Hoyle Card Games 2008' CD/DVD." Both games have this same problem.

Is there something else I'm supposed to do to get the Hoyle 2008 games to start for the first time on Windows 10?

The original 2008 disc contains a copy protection called SecurRom which is not compatible on Windows 10 due to security concerns from Microsoft.

There have been articles that allows for the install of this copy protection component on Windows 10, but you will have to look on the internet for that as I can't provide instruction how on these forums.
