We have had this game for quite some time now but when our old computer died we got a new one. I then re-installed the game and it appears that either some of the files are missing or corrupt. I would like to get the game back to it's original state, I just don't know how to do that beyond the "REPAIR" option which it did not repair it. At first I thought it was just a glitch so I uninstalled it and then re-installed it only to find the same problem all over again. It itself doesn't offer anything beyond "re-install the game" I know it's old but my grandmother loves to play it (it's her ONLY interaction with a computer) and my 3year old daughter loves to play the games now too. I was hoping that someone had a clean copy that I could download to replace the one I have now! Any help would be greatly appreciatedPray Anxious

I would love to help you out but I need more information. Are you running a Windows 7 or Windows 8 Machine?

Cassie I finally got my 2005 Hoyles Card Game to work after trying everything. I did the following:
On the Hoyles Card Game icon: Right Click.
Go to 'Properties' then Compatibility.
Tick - run this program in compatibility mode.
(I chose Windows 98/Windows Me)
On the same page tick: Run this as an administrator. OK
Back to the Hoyles icon.
Right click on Icon and hightlight: Run as Administrator. OK.

This finally worked after trying everything.
