Hello, I purchased the download for Hoyle Casino 2012 I have a Windows 7 Pro x64 on Intel corei7.

Hoyle Swashbuckler and KOCG Solitare work without a problem but Hoyle Casino.exe wont run.

I've tried using compatibility settings and it wont work.

Does anyone know if there is a patch or some setting I have to set for this application to work? I'd hate to go through the refund process if there is a fix.

NOTE: I noticed when I run the application (using compatibility mode or not) in TaskManager it registers 6,618k and CPU process of 13 so the program is at least attempting to run. What can I do to bring it up?

Hi webdevguy,

Since I have confirmed that Hoyle Casino 2012 works perfectly on a Win7x64 computer, there should be no need for you to use Compatibility Mode.

The preferred method for installing ANY software on ANY Windows computer is to perform a 'clean' install - EXACTLY as is described in this FAQ

http://forum.hoylegaming...XP-2000-Vista-Win7.aspx

to prevent the installation from becoming corrupt.

As to where you said this:

"I noticed when I run the application (using compatibility mode or not) in TaskManager it registers 6,618k"

When Hoyle Casino 2012 is properly installed, it should register AT LEAST 18,000k in Task Manager.

Since your HoyleCasino.exe will not run, that would indicate that the installation is corrupt. And, it is very important to keep in mind that a corrupt installation cannot be fixed by a simple uninstall and reinstall. The recommended solution for dealing with a corrupt installation is to click on the link below

http://forum.hoylegaming...as-stopped-working.aspx

then follow the directions in that FAQ for performing a 1) thorough uninstall, 2) computer cleanup and 3) 'clean' reinstall.

Since you purchased Hoyle Casino 2012 as a download, you will need to keep in mind that, when you reinstall the program, you might encounter an error message which says this:

"A problem was detected with your license file. Would you like to recover now?"

If so, you will want to click on the link below

http://support.encore.co...458&product_id=2829

to access a Technical Note which addresses that problem.
