Hello Hoyle Gaming Folks,

I recently seen a copy of the 2010 Hoyle games on a store shelf but was leary at picking them up, due to the fact that it only mentions OS X up to Version 10.5.6.

Is there anyone out there in the Hoyle gaming suite which is running this version sucessfully on Snow Leopard (Version 10.6)?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as this information seems to be lacking on Encore and Hoyle's websites.

Hi iNexxFear,

The official word from the Development Team is that the Hoyle 2010 and 2009 titles are Snow Leopard compatible.

I can confirm Hoyle Slots 2010 works under Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6).

The only caveat is on a Mid-2010 MacBook Pro with Automatic Graphics Switching. You will find that in full screen the display is shifted up and cut off. The solution is to disable this feature through Energy Saver Preferences by unchecking the appropriate box. When this is disabled the game works well in fullscreen.

You can turn this feature back on when done playing.
