Craps Placing Free Odds Bet

With Casino 2010 (PC version), how do you place a free odds bet in craps? The help text for the "Take Max Odds" setting in the "Craps Settings" options states that one should click on your pass line bet to place the maximum free odds bet. Nothing happens when I do this. However, I can click anywhere else on the Pass Line area and the bet amount I have initially allocated for the pass line bet will appear. I can keep clicking and additional betting increments appear. There does not seem to be any free odds limit. I can place as high of a free odds bet as I want, regardless of the max free odds setting.

For example, with the free odds set to 2x, I place a $5 pass line bet. Once the point has been made, I click the pass line area six times and can place what is equivalent to a $30 pass line free odds bet, when I really should only be allowed to place a $10 bet if the settings were being followed. If the point is rolled, the payout is correct for the total $35 bet. The free odds bet also doesn't show up behind my initial pass line bet.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something?

Hi dcyee,

Several users have posted on this forum about problems with placing free odds bets. However, no one from Encore or Hoyle has posted back with any information about this problem - primarily because these user-to-user forums are NOT monitored on a regular basis by either Technical Support or the Development Team. And, since moderators on this forum are volunteers only - who are not employed by either Hoyle or Encore - moderators are not provided with Technical Information about problems with the software.

So, the best thing you could do would be to click on the links below to 1) report the problem to Encore Technical Support and 2) to submit your feedback/suggestions/gripes directly to the Hoyle Development Team.
